RIP good old Truck

I've got to admit, this post is coming a bit too late but I've promised that I'd write a little post about the conversion of my truck into a camper. Well, what shall I say...

After my first rather clueless try of putting a bed into the back of my car I decided I could do way better and gave it another try. After all I had lots of time (thanks Corona) and all the tools and space I needed. Making a long story short, it took me quite a lot of time and effort, but I loved the outcome. It just fits perfectly into the back and has a few hidden features perfectly costumized for that particular truck.

Finally finishing it, I started sleeping just at the back of the farm, to try it out, see whether it's working the way it was supposed to. And as it is, it did work great, so I decided to go on another nice roadtrip. This time through the Okanagan, which is said to be beautiful during Spring blossom. I need up not even getting to Kamloops (about an hour from the farm), got myself stuck on a backroad, drove into a (apparently) rocky pothole and managed to end the frame of the Carson badly that the steering doesn't work properly anymore and the only thing left to do is selling the truck as parts - what a great little adventure...
